Celine prepared an amazing Moroccan feast, followed by an amazing selection of cheese (some varieties were brought directly from France!) and an incredibly chocolaty and rich brownie dessert! Wow!
Another classmate, Nova (middle), and his wife and baby girl came as well. Nova has heard about Fort McMurray and is interested in moving to Canada. Not to Fort McMurray Nova! Don't do it!

St. Patrick's Day
Celine has lived in Dublin so her and Engin were game to head out with us to Scruffy's Irish Pub. The pub was absolutely packed with expats and locals alike wearing stupid hats and green clothes. I enjoyed meeting and greeting people in English (so much easier) and visiting with Celine while sipping my cider.

Last week Celine and and another friend Ye took a little excursion to the American Library. We found lots of great DVD's and travel books. Toby and I are now watching Northern Exposure to get ready for our trip to Alaska! The librarian we encountered was quite grumpy, but hopefully that won't deter my friends from future visits. I love the library!

Life has definitely gotten better with addition of some friendly people in our lives. Now it just makes coming home that much harder!
